Salvadoran Porfirio Miranda, Peruvian Sol Aguirre, Peruvian Nehad Fekyr and Chilean Nicolás Canelo won the second edition of #LLSurfTalks, in the categories of best photo in competition, best aerial, best tube and best power maneuver respectively in the online photo tournament that took on great relevance in the Latin surfing environment.

The most hotly contested battle of the four grand finals was between Porfirio Miranda and Ecuadorian Joshua Morcillo, with all of Central America supporting the Salvadoran and all of Ecuador supporting the Galapagos native. The contest was decided with 3338 votes for the former and 2841 votes for the latter.

That number of votes gave the grand prize to Miranda, who had shared a photo of a very high aerial in what appears to be La Bocana, his wave.

“First, thank God y Second, to all my friends and people who shared the post, thanks to Luccaa Mesinasa for the invitation to the virtual aerios event and also to Luis Escudero. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This first place, 3338 votes, is for all of you,” Porfirio wrote on his Instagram.

The second most contested and voted contest was a classic from northern Peru, Sol Aguirre won by 1909 to 1693 against Raúl Ríos with a powerful maneuver in the middle of the competition.

Third place in the tournament went to Nehad Fekyr, who dethroned Maximus Petrina in the best power maneuver photo category with a stylish curve that earned him a score of 1354 to 1146.

Finally, Iquique local Nicolás Canelo won in the best tube category with a great photo captured by Nicolás Díaz that gave him 1176 votes, surpassing Stefano Mesinas' 1098.
