Brazilian Samuel Pupo received some heat on social media after winning his quarter-final series at the Ericeira challenger against Mateus Herdy.

Herdy needed two solid results in the remaining stages of the CS: Ericeira and Saquarema and this result leaves him practically alone needing the victory in Saquarema.

When they got out of the water, the surfers greeted each other and that was it. But on social media, they continued. Pupo received the “love” from Herdy’s fans and dedicated a message to them: “It’s really good when the Brazilian attacks the Brazilian. I just surfed, like I’ve been doing all year.
