Brazilian Samuel Pupo has just been officially guaranteed a spot in the 2025 CT by the WSL.
Pupo managed to advance to the round of 19185 at the Ericeira CS that is taking place at this moment and with that made it impossible for them to remove him from the qualification zone, being practically in second place in the ranking with XNUMX points.
He joined his compatriot Ian Gouveia who chose not to compete in Ericeira as he already has 22810 points.
With two guaranteed qualifiers, there are now eight spots available for a good number of surfers.
In the last three years, the last person to qualify for the CT added 17120 in 2023, 15770 in 2022 and 12100 in 2021.
Right now, tenth placed Mikey McDonagh has 13000 points.
