Tube of the month: Sebastian Correa in the swell of the year in Nias
"I went up and down two or three times and came out. I was really deep. A lot of people told me 'what a wave!'" said the surfer.
On one of the most memorable days in Nias history, Peruvian Sebastian Correa found one of the best waves of the day, a tube!
“It was a double… I was just coming back from one and I was stuck at the gate and I was like, ‘I have to go!'” he told DUKE. “I turned around, paddled hard and the wave was too still on the drop. I got to the bottom and almost didn’t make it into the tube. I went up and down like two or three times and got out. I was really deep. A lot of people were like, ‘Wow, that wave is awesome!'”
