Sebastián Williams and Asaya Brusa won the Mexican Surf Web Series in Acapulco

The final of the return to Mexico of the online world surfing tour had a special in-person event

Sebastián Williams and Asaya Brusa won the final of the new Mexican edition of the Surf Web Series that took place yesterday Saturday at Princess Beach in Acapulco.

The 12 surfers, eight men and four women, had qualified for the special stage thanks to their performances in the first phase of the event, which was held online.

After playing six quarterfinals and semi-finals, and after leaving behind Jafet Ramos, Nahum Corzo, Jimel Corzo, Quetzal Estrada, Rey Hernández and Tehuen Petroni, Sebastián Williams faced Jhony Corzo in the grand final.

Williams was superior in the fun beach break conditions and took home the $1.000 prize.

Among the ladies, Asaya Brusa took the victory after defeating the favorite, Shelby Detmers, in the grand final.
