Shakira returned to Wavegarden
He visibly improved his surfing level and got his two children into surfing.
Colombian singer Shakira returned to the Wavegarden in the Basque Country and this time she brought her sons Milan and Sasha along to the surfing session, the singer shared on her social media and several media outlets from around the world replicated it.
In various videos, the youngsters, children of footballer Gerard Piqué, can be seen sliding down several waves, and celebrating after finishing them, with Shakira surfing much better than in her previous foray into the Basque wave pool.
The goofy footer had visited the Wavegarden facilities in September 2020 and it seems he has followed his passion for surfing as he went from surfing straight to running walls and doing some direction changes.
The photos of the session were taken by the well-known Basque water photographer, Gorka Gurdi.
International media reported that Shakira's mini-vacation served as an escape from a lawsuit of 16,4 million dollars that the Colombian owes the Spanish treasury and for which she will go to trial.
