Slater's Ayahuasca Retreat with Extremely High Approval Ratings
Rythmia, located in Costa Rica, celebrated its 10th anniversary and shared statistics
Rythmia, the retreat co-owned by Kelly Slater with other celebrities and fans of ayahuasca, spiritual life, yoga, meditation, and other activities, celebrated its 10th anniversary and shared its statistics with the press.
According to reports of 22,337 guests who visited the retreat over the 10 years, “98.07% said they experienced a significant change, often described in their own words as a miracle.”
In the statement, Rythmia attributes the result: “These data reflect Rythmia’s long-standing commitment to excellence in readiness, safety, integration, and personal accountability, supported by authorized medical oversight and formal organizational governance. A decade of measured impact.”
The place, they say, exists to create a comprehensive and immersive environment with modern amenities where people can overcome their personal challenges and move forward with greater clarity and self-awareness.
At Rythmia, they say, they “integrate medical supervision, transformational breathing, yoga, personal development classes, plant medicine and structured integration support”.
According to Stab, reporting on this same news, each withdrawal costs $4900 all-inclusive for one week, not including transportation.
Slater participated in these retreats and has been quite open about his ayahuasca use. In a Rythmia video, he states, “He who knows others is wise; he who knows himself is enlightened,” quoting Lao Tzu. He concludes his post by saying, “Forget New Year’s resolutions… Better to make resolutions that last a lifetime.”
Kelly Slater has been a member of the center's board of directors since 2021.
