Slater clarified that he rides both Futures and FCS; he reported that he was inspired by a great white shark for his new board design

He said goodbye to Portugal with this video and said that he had a lot of food left over, that whoever wants it can just come and get it.

Kelly Slater uses both Future and FCS, he clarified in a new video posted on his Instagram. “A lot of people think I use Future,” he said, clarifying that he has both fin technologies.

The clarification presumably comes because in September of last year, Firewire (the company owned by Slater) announced that it would no longer use FCS.

In addition, Kelly said in his video published yesterday in which he looks at used boards and fins in Portugal, that with his brand Scarfini, they are testing new and innovative designs that will go on sale in a few months.

He also said that another board design, “Tiburón Blanco” (White Shark), will be released and that it was entirely inspired by the shape of one, and that even the edges used are similar to that of this shark.

Finally, he says that he doesn't know where to put all the boards he has, nor what he has left in the pantry, a lot of food he said and that whoever wants to can go get it.
