Kelly Slater has revealed that the Billabong Pro Pipeline may be his last event and that he may retire as of today.

What he said at the awards ceremony was the following: “This honestly could be the last one, I may not go to Sunset. I'm not sure yet, I'm going to have a little conversation with myself. I turn 50 in six days,” he added, making the whole beach laugh.

Sunset CT will begin on February 11th.

Kelly Slater earned his 56th win today at Pipe, his eighth at the Queen of the Waves.
