Slater assured that he will arrive in Bells on time

He is no longer in quarantine, yesterday afternoon he went to play golf

The best surfer in history, Kelly Slater, who tested positive for Covid last week, said he will be in time to compete in the fourth leg of this year's world tour, the Rip Curl Pro Bells which begins its waiting period on April 10.

As reported by Stab In a note published last night, the editorial team received a screenshot from a source close to Slater in which the American assures that he will arrive on time for Bells.

According to Australian authorities, Slater must test negative seven days after his positive test to be able to board a plane to Australia.

On April 1, he shared his positive test, so he could take the test today and get a negative result so he can travel tomorrow and arrive on time. What several specialists say about Covid is that after suffering from it and without having symptoms, the PCR test can continue to give a positive result for a while.

Slater shared a series of stories yesterday afternoon in which he appears working out with a San Francisco-based exercise system called Tonal. The 11-time champion says he's going to play golf this afternoon and that's why he's doing his exercises.

Vaccine
When Slater confirmed that he will be doing the full tour this year, after winning at Pipe, he suggested that he had already been vaccinated. He does not answer this clearly but he does imply it (read here).

Slater was embroiled in a scandal after testifying against Australian authorities in the Djokovic case, who was unable to play in Australian tournaments because he was not vaccinated.
