Sol Aguirre, professional surfer and… singer?

On March 1, the Peruvian singer will release her first single. “I hope this song conveys to you all the things that make me feel when I sing it. Are you ready?” she wrote.

Sol Aguirre, one of the best surfers in South America and the world, an Olympian, four-time South American champion, third in the world of the WSL juniors, among many other awards, will be launching her singing career on March 1st.

On that date she will release her first single, Present Time.

She didn't give many details about what she's doing, but she did share a fragment of the song; an R and B song in which she sings "Laying in the dark"…

“I can’t wait to show you my new song! It all started out of a love for music and suddenly “Present time” was born. I hope this song conveys to you all the things I feel when I sing it. Are you ready?” she wrote on Instagram.

Sol Aguirre is in Hawaii these days, spending time with her team of surfers and friends from the Roxy brand.
