Stage 2 of the ALAS 5 tour will take place between November 5 and 2023 at El Rosario beach in the El Hawái Reserve in Guatemala.

This will be the third consecutive edition of the Guatemala International Championship, but the first time that it is part of the international circuit that crowns the best in America.

Below are some important facts to keep in mind about the upcoming event:

1: The wave: The Rosary

It is a very powerful beach break that suits a medium to small swell better, although when the sea comes in, although there are several hills, some rough diamonds emerge that end up becoming big holes.

2: A memorable wave on that beach

5: If you are not surfing in El Rosario you can also:

“We have a high-performance gym to train with the kids when there are no waves, although it is very rare that there are no waves. We also have several pools for freediving and water exercises. The beach is also very good for jogging and exercising. On the other side we have the Chiquimulilla channel, where we practice wakesurfing, wakeboarding, kayaking, paddle surfing and other activities that keep us fit,” said local Elmer Ruiz in an interview with DUKE last year.

Maya Jade, a good choice.
