A union of Peruvian and Chilean organizers launched the Semillero Laitnoamaericano Olas Pro Tour 2023 circuit, which will unite four events, two in Chile and two in Peru, to consecrate five categories of champions in both genders.

The dates, as reported in a statement sent to DUKE by Oso Gana, are detailed as follows:

Las Machas Beaches, Arica Chile May 05th and 6th

San Bartolo Beach, Lima Peru, June 11 and 12

Silver Coast Green, Lima Peru July 01st and 02nd

Chinchorro Beach, Arica- Chile August 11 and 12

The categories to be competed in are Under 10, Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18.

The tournament follows a boom in youth events at a regional level, with the South American surfing tournament and the seedbeds organised by the other co-organiser of the tour, Roberto Meza.

Some of the confirmed players are the outstanding Alejenadro Bernales (under 18 and under 16), Bastian Arevalo (under 14) and the Peruvian national champions Brianna Barthelmess (under 12) and Aisa Chuman (under 14).
