South American Youth Games will have teams of a maximum of 10 per country
Two shortboards, one SUP race, one SUP surf and one Bodyboard, both genders; the surfing will take place in Venao between April 13 and 16
The surfing events at the 2026 South American Youth Games will feature teams of up to 10 athletes per country, consisting of two shortboarders, one SUP Racer, one SUP surfer, and one bodyboarder per gender, according to the event's technical manual.
This will allow a maximum of 24 medals to be awarded at the event; gold, silver and bronze from eight podiums in total.
The surfing event will take place between April 13 and 16 at Playa Venao.
The athletes who will compete cannot turn 18 years old during 2026, that is, all those born on or after January 1, 2008 can compete.
