Spain travels to Biarritz with a full team

The national longboard team was announced today by the federation of that country

Galician María Lafuente, Cantabrian Miriam Mir, Basque Jon Irigoyen and Andalusian Alberto de Mario will be the Spanish representatives at the International Surfing Association longboard world championships to be held in Biarritz between May 26 and June 2, the Spanish surfing federation announced today.

Spain finished 19th in the 2018 World Championships in this discipline, held in China. On that occasion, it competed with two of the four competitors that make up a complete team.

He did not compete in the previous edition, held in Peru in 2013.

According to the statement sent by the federation, the selection was made based on two concentrations, one held in Salinas and the other in the Canary Islands.
