The Uruguayan youth circuit will begin with the Rip Curl Grom Search, which will take place on a beach to be defined in Maldonado between February 1 and 5, according to the organization.
We will wait for the best day of waves and choose the beach with the best conditions to hold the tournament.
The event will determine the first winners of the 2023 circuit in the Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 categories, men and women.
The youth break was short-lived in Uruguay, as the Uruguayan champions were determined in the fourth stage of the 2022 tour at the end of December. Lucas Rainieri, Alejo Marchand and Manuela Carballo won the under 16 and under 18 divisions, with Carballo winning both.
