Mavericks and Roka Puta going bankrupt at the end of April?

The Northern Hemisphere has had one of the best extended seasons in years, what seemed like a coincidence a few weeks ago now seems ridiculous.

In the middle of April, entering May, when people are preparing for summer vacation, the carnage continues in Mavericks.

The same thing is happening in Europe.

Today, young Adur Amatriain shared a wave at Roka Puta, which usually breaks in the middle of the European winter, with the caption: "Happy to have a good swell in April."

In a note on Surfline they say that the wave that swept away the entire band in the line up was the biggest of the year.
