Two-time world champion Piccolo Clemente, former Pan American champion Lucas Garrido-Lecca and the outstanding María Fernanda Reyes and Ana Camila Kaspar will represent Peru at the ISA World Longboard Championships to be held in Biarritz, France, from May 26 to June 2, the country's federation reported on its website.

The Peruvians are coming off a historic second-place finish in the 2018 World Cup held in China, and in the previous one, which was held in Huanchaco, Peru in 2013, they placed sixth.

Last year, Clemente was runner-up in the world championship and Reyes was fifth. The famous Peruvian longboarder has won two WSL world titles but the ISA title has eluded him on several occasions.

For her part, María Fernanda Reyes comes from placing second in the WSL in Rio de Janeiro and from winning a special event that took place in Puerto Rico.

Garrido Lecca won the last stage of ALAS (in which he beat Clemente himself) and Ana Camila Kaspar, in addition to being the Latin champion, is the national champion.
