Sunrise shack, owned by brothers Smith and Koa Rothman, expands

They sold 10 franchises and want to reach 100 worldwide.

Sunrise Shack, a cafe and bar that originated on Oahu's North Shore, has just sold its first 10 locations in Southern California, surfers reported on their social media.

The place, known as a meeting place and a place to eat after a good surfing session, already had seven branches on Oahu and now they have sold 10 for America.

They say their goal is to reach 100 worldwide. There are already some in Japan.

“We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve officially sold our first 10 Sunrise Shack territories, all in Southern California. These locations will open over the next few years, and this is a huge accomplishment for us and the brand,” they wrote.

They added, “This expansion has generated a lot of interest and inquiries, and this is just the beginning. If you, or someone you know, would be excited to bring a Sunrise Shack to your neighborhood, tag them below.”

According to the information posted on the site, the initial investment for each Sunrise Shack ranges from $235.000 to $600.000.

They highlight that their advantages are their reach on social media and that the demand for healthy food consumption is on the rise.
