Surf City El Salvador ALAS Pro will honor Maradona tomorrow
Series 10 of the day will have a special touch

The Surf City El Salvador ALAS Pro, the second and final stage of the American surfing tour, will pay tribute to Diego Armando Maradona, authorities from the Ministry of Tourism informed DUKE.
In a joint effort between Surf City and the Argentine Embassy in El Salvador, surfers taking to the water in the 10-day heat will wear the captain's armband with the number 10 and use a sticker on their boards honoring Maradona.
In addition, a video honoring the soccer player who passed away on November 25 will be shown during the event's live broadcast.
Authorities estimate that this special series will air at 11 a.m.
The second stage of the ALAS circuit will begin tomorrow and end on Sunday. More than 100 surfers from 15 countries have signed up to decide the grand champion of an unusual year.
