Surfer arrested in La Zurriola for violating quarantine
The Covid-19 carrier was forced out of the water and taken handcuffed and escorted to the police station; she could face fines of up to 600.000 euros

A young surfer was arrested at noon yesterday, Monday, by Spanish health personnel after being reported for violating her quarantine for carrying Covid 19, reported El Diario Vasco and several people on social media.
According to reports, she is a lifeguard at another beach, her colleagues knew she was a carrier, they saw her and reported her.
The health personnel arrived, accompanied by security, who were there for a few minutes to get her out of the water. At first she resisted, but then she was handcuffed and escorted to the police station, where she was released to return to quarantine.
According to the newspaper, the fine for violating the quarantine can be between 60.000 and 600.000 euros.
On the other hand, they reported that both she and her boyfriend threatened a young man who was surfing next to the girl and came out of the water to film the video that shows her being arrested and that he posted on social media.
The young man filed a complaint at the local police station.
