Swellazo hit Puerto Rico and generated these magical moments

Winter in the northern hemisphere has generated a massive storm surge on the island of enchantment, and over the past few days there have been moments of tension and joy in different parts of the coast.

Two days ago, the prominent Puerto Rican surfer Alejandro Moreda was one of the first to show the magnitude of the swell, posting a video of a blow: "I need a sponsor's energy drink to paddle harder, or a CBD one for these blows (laughs)," he wrote. "I have to swim harder, or do I need more board? A lot of excuses that entered my head. For the next time. Yesterday was epic! The boys put on a show!" he added.

Meanwhile, photographer Ardiel Jiménez wrote a chronicle of the day on his Instagram: "Yesterday was a day for surfing history in Puerto Rico! I had a great time; being able to document part of what happened from the water and from outside. Honestly, it was a day for gladiators!"
