Teco Padaratz re-elected as CBS president until 2028
Paulo Moura and Brigitte Mayer will continue in their roles as vice presidents
Former professional and Brazilian surfing legend, the man who has changed the face of Brazilian surfing, Teco Padaratz, was re-elected president of the Brazilian Surfing Confederation for a second four-year term, the institution announced in a statement on social media.
“Today, the CBSurf Elective General Assembly defined the board for the next term, from 2025 to 2028. The single formula, headed by the current president Teco Padaratz, was acclaimed, guaranteeing the continuity of the work alongside Paulo Moura as vice president and Brigitte Mayer as female vice president.
The expectation for the new mandate is to maintain the excellent performance of the last three years, with a focus on strengthening the foundations of surfing, growing national competitions and highlighting international competitions. The future of Brazilian surfing promises even more!”
Padaratz established a strong national circuit in all divisions, taking Brazil to all ISA international events where she also achieved an Olympic extra slot in both genders.
The Brazilian has also just been elected a member of the Brazilian Olympic Committee.
