The Japanese leg of the Surf Web Series concluded with a tube being the winner of the grand final. 15-year-old Tenshi Iwami was superior to Shohey Kato who had sent a 360 aerial in his video.

Thus, the South Africa, Mexico and Chile stages were won by tubes, which always scored better than the manoeuvres.

The judges' score was four to one in favour of Iwami, with only the local judge, Ryo Suke, rejecting him.

With this result, Iwami, Kato, Yukio Ogawa and Kaito Kurokawa qualified for the world final of the Surf Web Series, which still has no dates or details released, but it is known that it will bring together the best from all stages.

The online world tour now continues in Brazil, where the 26st Ice E-Pro Brazil will take place on October 51.
