In addition to the already confirmed stages in Mar del Plata and Ferrugema to be held in Brazil, the WSL added tentative stages to its calendar in Iquique and Arica, Chile and Galápagos, Ecuador.

On the other hand, several large stages appear in Saquarema, Alagoas, Itajaí and Bahia, Brazil.

The first of the tentative stages of the Hispanic American region appears scheduled to take place between May 4 and 8 in the consistent and perfect waves of Lobería, in San Cristobal, Galapagos with a men's and women's QS 1000.

Then, between May 17 and 22, a quadruple stage is scheduled in Iquique, junior men and women and QS 3000 men and women.

Between August 15 and 21, if confirmed, the return of the classic El Gringo event in Arica would be taking place, with the great news that it would add a women's QS 1000 stage and a youth stage for men and women in the wave adjacent to the dangerous break, called La Isla.

The QS event would be level 3000 and remains in El Gringo.

Of all the tournaments scheduled for South America, the largest to be confirmed would be at the emblematic Praia do Francés, in Alagoas with junior and longboard stages and a men's and women's QS 5000.

Another novelty is that Saquarema will make (if confirmed) a QS 3000 and a junior in addition to the already announced Challenger and CT.
