The ALAS 2024 tour starts this weekend
Punta Rocas will host the Equans Cup, which closed registrations with more than 100 surfers in seven categories; a marathon tournament is expected

More than 100 competitors will be part of the first stage of the ALAS 2024 circuit, the Equans Cup that will take place in Punta Rocas on March 9 and 10.
It will be a marathon event, with more than 100 competitors divided into seven categories: Under 14 men and women, Under 18 men and women, Open Longboard, Open Women and Open Men.
In addition to several of the best in the region who will compete for one star in the men's category and two in the junior and women's categories, such as Lolo Bellorin, Lucca Mesinas, Noah de Col, Catalina Zariquiey, Julián Schweizer, Mafer Reyes, and Piccolo Clemente, 12 French junior surfers of weight will compete, several of them members of their country's team that finished seventh in the 2023 ISA Junior World Championship.
The event will be broadcast live on the Mis Olas YouTube channel.
