The 2025 Brazilian circuit closes with two stages that will distribute US$185.000

In one year, CBS will distribute more than half a million dollars.

Just days after reporting that the Brazilian circuit will pay out nearly $2026 in 400.000, CBS announced that the final two legs of this year's national tour will award $185.000 in prize money, the CBS press office reported.

Both will take place in Praia Mole, Brazil, from November 4-10 and November 11-17.

Teco Padaratz, president of CBSurf, said: "At CBSurf, it's like this, from surfer to surfer, and it's with pride and satisfaction that we announce this prize, unthinkable years ago, of R$1 million for our surfers. After our last stop in Ubatuba, we realized that two consecutive stages in the same location would be excellent for the athletes. These last two stages of the Dream Tour in Floripa will culminate the 2025 CBSurf season with a flourish, as they will be held right after the last two stages of the Taça Brasil, in Torres (RS) and Guarda do Embaú (SC). In other words, there will be a prize pool of R$1.350.000 for our surfers."

Meanwhile, CBSurf CEO Geraldo Cavalcanti said: "I think we found the best formula to close the season with a flourish, with this unique opportunity for surfers to compete for R$1.350.000 in a single trip. We had the option of holding the final leg of the Dream Tour in another city, but we analyzed the pros and cons and, always thinking about what's best for our athletes, we came to the consensus to hold both legs in Praia Mole, Floripa. Without a doubt, it will be a surfing spectacle, full of excitement and adrenaline in this battle for the 2025 Brazilian titles."

The fight for the Brazilian title is being led by Laura Raupp and Yage Araujo.

With this, in a year or a little more than a year, CBS will have distributed more than half a million dollars.
