The Australian Grand Slam, a three-event series on the Gold Coast, Tweed Coast and Western Australia, will begin its two-month waiting period tomorrow, the organisers announced in their “Surf Breaks” programme.

According to reports, Stephanie Gilmore, Julian Wilson and Jack Robinson are expected to be present, among other surfers who will be in Australia.

The tournaments are part of the countdown that the WSL has set up for official competitions.

The first one took place weeks ago in Slater's pool and was won by Filipe Toledo and Coco Ho.
