Australia won the World Youth Championship by stealing it, after 11 years without achieving it.

He won two gold medals out of four that were up for grabs and quickly, early in the day, he was already the champion.

Two Spanish speakers won medals: Thiago Passeri (bronze in under 16) and Dylan Donegan (gold in under 16), both of whom are guests of the DUKE newscast.
