Its CEO was in Tahiti and reported on Twitter, describing the trip as "intense and productive."

International Surfing Association CEO Bob Fasulo tweeted that he just completed his first Olympic surfing technical visit to Tahiti, the surfing venue for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“9:25pm local time. Departing Tahiti after a productive and intense first technical visit for Olympic surfing in 2024 and remembering to celebrate the power of sport for peace and a better world,” Fasulo wrote. Then adding the hashtags: #PeaceandSport #IDSDP #SportDay #WhiteCard #StandWith🇺🇦 #ABetterWorldThroughSurfing

Paris 2024 will take place between 26 July and 11 August; the dates for the surfing event have not yet been published.

It is known that the wave chosen for the event is Teahupoo, that the Olympic village will be made of recyclable materials taking care of the natural environment of the place and that the capacity of people to watch the event will be 1.500.

Since Teahupoo is an outside wave, it is not known how the possibility of the public seeing the test in situ will be implemented.
