The Pacific got good
A review of what happened on that side of Latin America, from Chile to Mexico

It wasn't one of those swells that make the networks explode with XXL images, but decent waves came in all along the Pacific coast, from Chile to Puerto Escondido.
Two big wave events were held, the trials at the Punta de Lobos Ceremonial and those at Santos del Mar, in El Buey. The first had epic moments with waves and solid tubes, the second was more inconsistent but its bombs went in.
In the north of Peru there was a good barrel party (see below) and in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and El Salvador a consistent swell came in. Finally Puerto Escondido received the swell with storms but with a window of good moments; the points were also in order, more friendly and with good right-handers.
