The Philippines leads the partial ranking ahead of the final day of the World Cup.

They are going for their first and historic first ISA team title; France, Japan, Brazil, and Hawaii, in that order, complete the top five with a chance to be champions.

For the first time in the history of the World Longboard Championships, the Philippines team will begin the final day as the team leader, according to an ISA announcement on the event's website.

With three competitors still in the main event, Rogelio Esquivel and Mara López in the qualifiers, Crisanto Villanueva in the 8th round of the repechage, and Daisy Valdez having already finished 11th, the Philippines has a chance to win its first ISA title; they have a possible maximum of 3335.

But the French are close behind, also with three remaining competitors and a possible maximum of 3310. That is, if the Filipinos don't perform at their best, they'll leave the door open for the French.

In third place, also close behind, are the Japanese with 3220 points, and just a little further ahead are the Brazilians with 2863 points.

Hawaii is next door with 2750.

The top three are essentially tied. While the Philippines have their own way of doing so (they must win and finish second in the men's and win in the women's), the points gap is so narrow that if Japan wins in one category, the difference between first and second place is 140 points, which is less than the gap between them.
