The second edition of the Copa Río de la Plata will be officially presented this Wednesday, January 8 at 19:00 p.m. at the Moby Dick beach resort in Playa Montoya, according to the tournament's press.
In the best Copa Libertadores style, the draw will be held and the matches between Argentines and Uruguayans will be established, the path that will determine the individual champions who will add points for the cup by countries.
The categories in competition will be open men, open women and longboard.
The conference will feature speakers:
-Martin Hualde, sports director of Maldonado.
-Marcela Machado, member of the Uruguayan team.
-Leandro Usuna, Olympic athlete and two-time world champion.
-Vera Jariz, who was the Open Cup champion last year.
-Francisco Pérez del Castillo, director of the event.
-Ignacio Pignataro, Uruguayan longboard representative. The new category of the event.
-Lucas Madrid, competitor and organizer
The Rio de la Plata Cup, in addition to determining the champions of the international event, will serve as the second stage of the Uruguayan national circuit, which has just been confirmed to take place on January 9.
There will also be a stunt championship, a legends series and a Corona Sunset on a day of your choosing from January 9-12.
