The Sangachi brothers fulfilled another dream
Luis got a tube in Giant Pipe
Ecuadorian brothers Luis and Jorge Sangachi have enchanted the world because, based on talent, courage and hard work, they have visited incredible places and tamed waves likewise.
A key chapter in this story took place yesterday at the queen of waves, Pipeline. It is known that only a few humans manage to get a tube in there, and even fewer who go down from the second reef.
It turned out that Luis Sangachi waited four hours for his turn at Pipe and found the gem seen above. He says that even Nathan Florence celebrated with him. And he adds, in contact with DUKE: "Incredible wave, four days after arriving at the North Shore for the first time, grateful for life."
"When you really want something, the universe makes it happen," they wrote on Instagram. "This is the result of patience, connection with your surroundings and a lot of love for what you do, very grateful for fulfilling one of the biggest dreams we always had," the brothers conclude about the historic wave.
