The Under 16, Under 18 and Open quarterfinals have been defined in Chicama
In the Under 18, Open, and Under 16 categories, with the playoffs underway, the first teams to be eliminated emerged.

The quarterfinals in the Open, Under 18, and Under 16 categories were determined on another day of perfect waves in Chicama.
The first rounds of the main Under-16 event and the playoffs for the other aforementioned events were played.
The quarter-finals were as follows:

Two teams have made it through the play-off finals, leaving two thirds of the final four and one of the final three.


Under 16 ladies

Of the teams competing for the country title, Costa Rica was the hardest hit, with three surfers left out.
Uruguay and Panama also saw several of their surfers eliminated.
It is worth mentioning that there are 30 members per team and only three categories and two genders per category will be competing.
