Two young QS surfers, Rylan Beavers and Bella Mattive, will be the only representatives of the US team at the Pan American Surfing Games in Santa Catalina, which will take place between April 21 and 30.

Beavers finished the 2022/2023 QS in 43rd place, competing in two events and her best finish was 17th.

Mattive is currently ranked 24th, her best result was in the Morr Bay QS where she placed ninth and in the Barbados 5000 where she placed 13th.

Both are regular footers so they go head-to-head with Santa Catalina's right-handers.

The United States did not participate in last year's Pan American surfing games.
