Comments about the surfing first lady went viral on social media, the hashtag #Loli appeared as the number 1 trending topic on Twitter on Wednesday afternoon and more than one meme has already appeared in addition to comparisons of her with other Uruguayan first ladies.

Lacalle Pou had a surfing session with his wife yesterday and today he met with the President of Paraguay, Mario Abdo Benítez, in Punta del Este.

According to calculations made by DUKE, since he assumed the presidency, Lacalle Pou surfed in that early morning of June 2020 for the first time since he took office (click here.), in the last days of 2020 and first days of 2021 (click here.) and now in Carnival.

In an interview with DUKE Prior to taking office, Lacalle Pou had declared that he planned to surf during his term.
