The WSL longboard world title will be decided in El Salvador

The best eight men and women of the season will crown the champions between October 9 and 13 in El Sunzal in a one-day event

El Salvador will host the 2024 World Longboard Tour Finals, the WSL announced yesterday in a press release.

The top eight men and top eight women after three stages of the tour will decide the world champion in WSL Finals style, with an event that will decide the world champion in one day.

The dates chosen for the finals are from October 9 to 13.

The WSL also announced two of the three stages that will make up the circuit's regular season:

-Bioglan Bells Beach Longboard Classic (Bells Beach, Victoria, Australia): July 18 - 21, 2024

-Huntington Beach Longboard Classic (Huntington Beach, Calif., USA): August 3 - 6, 2024

-Stop 3 – Location to be determined: September 2024

The tour will be made up of 24 men and 24 women.

-Top 10 of the 2023 ranking
-Seven qualifiers from WSL regions
-Five wildcards of the season
-Two wildcards per event selected by the WSL Tours and Competition team
