The WSL released the confirmed schedule for the 2026 CT, which will feature 12 events. There are no updates to the format compared to this season's schedule, and the format also offers no updates compared to what had been reported in the media.

Series No. 2 - Margaret River, Western Australia, Australia: April 17 - 27
Series No. 3 - Snapper Rocks, Queensland, Australia: May 2 - 12
Series No. 4 - Punta Roca, El Salvador: May 28 - June 7
Series No. 5 - Saquarema, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: June 12 - 20
Series No. 6 - Jeffreys Bay, South Africa: July 10 - 20
Series No. 7 - Teahupo'o, Tahiti, French Polynesia: August 8 - 18
Series No. 8 - Cloudbreak, Fiji: August 25 - September 4
Series No. 9 - Lower Trestles, San Clemente, Calif., USA: September 11 - 20*
Series No. 10 - Surf Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, UAE: October 14 - 18**
Series No. 11 - Peniche, Portugal: October 22 - November 1
Series No. 12 - Banzai Pipeline, Hawaiʻi, USA: December 8 - 20***

Starting with Stage 9, seven of which will count toward the ranking, the field is reduced to 10 men and 11 women for Stages 24 and 16, before concluding with the Pipeline event, which will count 50%.

On the other hand, the formats change with the quantities.

As previously reported, the 36-man events, which currently lack an elimination round, have four heats with the lowest seeds going to a kill-or-die matchup, followed by a round of 32 and a bracket format.

In the women's category, before the cut, those ranked 1 to 8 are pre-qualified in round 2.

From 1 to 8, as in checkers, they enter round 2 after stage 9.

After the cut, the women all start in round 1 in eight woman-to-woman matches.
