The World Masters Championship is back: October in El Salvador

After more than 10 years, the event will be organized again this year, announced the ISA president, Fernando Aguerre, at the opening ceremony of the junior world championships.

The ISA World Masters Championship will be held in El Salvador in October of this year, announced the president of the institution, Fernando Aguerre, today at the opening ceremony of the Surf City ISA World Junior Surfing Championship.

This event, which has not been held since 2013 in Montañita, Ecuador, brings together the best surfers over 35 years old who, at least back then, were divided into Masters (+35), Grand Masters (+40), Kahunas (+45) and Grand Kahunas (+50).

No details have been provided about the beach or the number of athletes that make up a complete team.
