The Bells series are already out
February will replace Slater and three wildcards remain to be defined
The waiting period for the second stage of the Champions Tour (CT) of the world surfing circuit will begin next Wednesday, March 28.
As expected, Slater will not be there and will be replaced by Mike February, who is already gaining ground as a full-time competitor since this will be Mick Fanning's last event.
Three wildcard spots between the two categories remain to be defined and will likely be determined through trials.
In the ladies' category, Courtney Conlogue is missing, who like Slater has a fractured foot.
