The life table of Analí Gómez
The first in the world commissioned by UNESCO? Painted like the Sarhua boards, a tradition of the Ayacucho people; it tells the life of the surfer
This video is an audiovisual gem, and the featured panel is a treasure of humanity declared by UNESCO and the Ministry of Culture of Peru.
The meeting between Analí Gómez, her shaper Wayo Whilar and the painter of this traditional technique, Pompeyo Berrocal, represents the cultural wealth of Peru in eight minutes. According to the story, in the houses of Sarhua, in this form of pictorial art, the history of a person, their family and the town is painted.
This led to what is surely the best painting of Analí Gómez's life, which the painter took to his workshop in Ayacucho to spend a week painting Analí's life.
You can see Magoo de la Rosa, Sofía Mulanovich, Analí's world championship in Punta Rorcas 2014, and other details in a way that has never been shown before.
An audiovisual, surfing and heritage work of art.
