It was a tough Day 3 at the Billabong Pro Pipeline, with only Tyler Wright having a decent heat in which he found more than one opportunity to score points.

The rest of the women battled and there were series that ended up being decided by tenths of points and totals of two.

Bettylou Sakura Johnson advances to the semis after beating Gabriela Bryan in a series that was decided by tenths of a point.
Brisa couldn't find her rhythm and lost to Lakey Peterson.
