Carissa Moore and Jack Robinson won the Billabong Pro Pipeline in a small Pipe that at times brought out its gems.

There were hardly any waves for Pipe and everything was decided by going to Backdoor, in some cases with tubes and in others with maneuvers.

Below are some photos from the final day.

Bettylou Sakura Johnson started the year well with a third place at Pipe.
It was not easy for Carissa to win the event, she reached three finals and just won the first one.
That maneuver, of 3,83, was what gave him victory over Tyler Wright in the grand final.
Third time's a charm, Carissa.
The winners, Jack and Carissa.
Filipe was unable to beat Joao Chumbinho Chianca and said goodbye to the yellow lycra which now went to Jack Robinson.
Two women who were already world champions, two men who were not yet world champions; the first final in the CT for Fioravanti, the fourth victory for Robinson.
Robinson found a good rhythm with his right hands and thus beat John John, Chumbinho and Leo in the grand final.
The Australian spent much of his life in Hawaii.

Jack Robinson said he was thinking of buying a Gerry Lopez board... No need anymore, mate.
Great start for Chumbinho, and he knows it.
John John seemed to be having a good time in his series against Jack, but it wasn't possible.
Quarter-finals for Jordy Smith.
Semi-finals for Lakey.
