A day of fun and powerful waves in Reñaca defined a resounding dominance of Chile in the three ALAS rankings to start the year.

Noel de la Torre won in junior, Lorena Fica in open and Maximiliano Cross in open took the event and started the year ahead.

Master of the style, Leon de la Torre, defeated the defending champion of the event, Juninho Urcia in the quarterfinals. In the following series, in the semis, he lost to Maximiliano Cross.
It is very difficult for Noel de la Torre not to achieve, sooner rather than later, another international title. For now, he has started well for his second junior ALAS.
