The event was started by 450 surfers and by the final day there were 32 who will be the ones who will decide the world champions in four categories.

Argentine Juan García Mata rounded off a very good championship, finishing in the top 15 in the world in the Under 16 category.
Dane Henry continued through the main event with aerials as one of his primary weapons.

Another one who is one step away from the grand final with two lives: Luan Ferreyra of Brazil.
Brazil's Rafael Barboza surfed well but bowed out of the event in round 7 of the repechage.
Nikolas Polischuk lives in Mexico, represents Canada and had a very good championship finishing in the top 15 with performances like the one in the photo.
Romeo Chavez hits a good forehand to reach the grand final of the main event. The Colombian is one set away from giving his country its first medal in the history of this tournament.
