The best photos from day 1 of ALAS de Guatemala

The event started with good waves at El Paredón

Round 1 and 2 of open men, round 1 of under 14 men and women, round 1 of longboard and round 1 of under 18 men took to the water in a marathon day of ALAS of Guatemala.

The sixth stop of the tour began with good waves, sometimes solid, at El Paredón.

Jorge Rivas surfed the best barrel of the event but in round 2 he had a tough heat against Alonso and Noah and said goodbye to the event.
One of the surprises of the day was the early defeat of Ericson Ortiz.
Teo Gale is surfing well.
Yason Vasquez from Guatemala moved on to round 2 but despite showing good surfing he was unable to make it to round 3.
Juninho Urcia, always a standout, went through round 1 and round 2.
Gabriel Llubijic in a solid.
The young Peruvian made it through round 1 solidly but failed to make it into round 3 later on.
