On a day of fun waves in Lobería, Alonso Correa and Mimi Barona were crowned champions of the second edition of the Sails of Change Cup.

Daniel Adisaka showed good surfing but had no chance with Alonso Correa.
Mimi Barona pressing on her finishing move. That backside attack has given her many joys, yesterday was one more.
Julia Duarte was injured in Lobería but managed to return to the water to compete in her semi-final series, in which she failed to advance.
Maxi Sáens, the great revelation of the event, of Ecuador and of Latin America, achieved third place in the championship.
The other semi-finalist: Samuel Joquinha.
Sophia Medina showed good surfing but had no chance in the semis against Mimi Barona.
Alonso celebrated his second QS win, his first away from home in Peru. He had claimed five finishes throughout his career.
Barona celebrated, Ecuador celebrated.
Medina, Duarte, Barona and Arena Rodriguez: the four best in the event.
Saens, Correa, Adisaka and Joquinha, the four best in the event.
