The best surfing animation ever seen by Kelly Slater

"Whoever did this really understands tubes and wave physics," wrote the best in history on social media.

This animation by cinematographer Karim Rejeb caught the attention of Kelly Slater who said it was the best he had ever seen, "whoever did this really understands tubes and the physics of waves."

The film shows an idea of surfing at Teahupoo and uses what appear to be plastic bags and fabric to generate tubes and foambaalls.

The film features several memorable moments at Teahupoo, such as Natha Fletcher's wave, the time Raimana almost died, very close to being hit by the jet ski, and many others.

Not much is known about Karim Rejeb on social media; a quick search shows him collaborating with the band Smile is a Band (owned by an Englishman who lives in Getxo).
