The classic big wave event in El Buey, Arica, was confirmed by the organization on social media to take place on November 5 and 6.

“The swell is on its way and epic waves of up to seven metres are expected, ideal for seeing the best big wave surfers in the world in action,” the statement said, adding, being more specific about the forecast:

“These days, El Buey will not only show its legendary power, but it will do so under ideal conditions for big wave surfing: those conditions that only the most intrepid and experienced surfers know how to appreciate and take advantage of,” they say, adding that during the two days there will be waves, light wind blowing from the right direction and good weather.
